When CHAPELU FRERES started in 1956, it was specialised in making metal tooling for the plastic industry. Already recognised for their innovating qualities, the founders, Maurice and René CHAPELU, developed their own trademark in the market of ower in synthetic resin.
When the firm took the leadership in design and making of artificial leaves, it invested in new tooling to make pots, stands and planters in plastic material.
In 1993, the second generation, Eric and Jean-Pierre CHAPELU, believes in the significance of decorating pottery in the fleuristery and horticulture and develops innovating shapes and colours, which have made today CHAPELU FRERES a recognised actor in the horticultural eld.
In 2000 in order to follow their clients’ development, CHAPELU Garden is launched.
